Schools of the Year

We are thrilled to announce the 2014-2015 School of the Year for Illinois – Smithton School of Smithton Community Consolidated School District #130.

Smithton School is being honored for their dedication to nominate wonderful students for the Do the Right Thing Award. Teachers, staff, and administrators have consistently nominated students throughout the school year. Those students have been recognized not only at the school level, but they have also had students chosen as top winners during our monthly Top Ten ceremonies. Smithton School students display excellent character, and the school staff has continuously encouraged great character choices through the nominations that have been made. The Board of Directors for Do the Right Thing is proud to honor the staff and students of Smithton School!

We are honored to announce the 2014-2015 Missouri School of the Year – Woerner Elementary School of the St. Louis Public School District.

Woerner Elementary School was chosen as the Missouri School of the Year after having nominated so many quality students throughout the school year. Month after month, students were honored for their actions and positive character traits as the staff of Woerner Elementary School submitted nominations. Today we would like to recognize the staff for their dedication to submitting those students. Thank you!
